Taylor Krizmanich

Taylor is our writer at HHT and has recently graduated from McGill University. She specialized in English Literature, Communication Studies as well as Gender, Sexuality, Feminism and Social Justice Studies.

Taylor has seen first hand the detrimental impact of sexual assault. As a survivor herself, Taylor understands the importance of a positive and accepting support network. Taylor is extremely passionate about gender equality and women’s rights and believes that HHT is the perfect platform for survivors to come together and share their stories. Writing has been a way for Taylor to recognize her past and begin to move forward as a strong, independent, and confident woman. Her goal is to help other survivors find their voice and begin to open up the conversation about sexual assault.

Taylor has recently been accepted to law school and hopes to use her degree to help survivors feel more powerful and change the way the judicial system handles sexual violence. When she is not writing, Taylor is usually playing with her dog or relaxing with friends and family. She swam competitively for over ten years and still tries to be as active as possible in order to maintain a healthy mindset.
